Budweiser Duel 150's at Daytona

The 2015 Budweiser Duels are on Thursday the 19th and will help form the front of the 2015 Daytona 500. Lets get into the basic information you might need to know for the 2015 Duel's and Daytona 500.

Pole Qualifying
- Sunday, February, 15, 2015
- Start Time: 1 pm ET
- TV: FOX
Qualifying Rules
- Three Rounds. First round cars are divided in half base on a random draw.
- First Round: 5 min. 24 fastest cars advance to next round
- Second Round: 5 min. 12 fastest cars advance to the final round
- Last Round: 5 min.
- The top two Qualifiers will be the front row for the Daytona 500.
Budweiser Duels
- Fastest Qualifier will have the Pole for Duel One. The second fastest gets the Pole for Duel Two.
- Odd numbered finishers in qualifying are in Duel One. Then starting spot based on qualifying speed.
- Even numbered finishers in qualifying are in Duel Two. Then starting spot based on qualifying speed.
- Highest 15 finishers in each Duel automatically get a spot in the 500 (excluding the already locked in front row spots).
- These qualifiers make up 1-32.
- Based on finish, Duel One will start on the inside row.
- Based on finish. Duel Two will starts on the outside row.
- Spots 33-36 go to the fastest qualifiers that didn't earn a spot through the Duels.
- Spots 37-42 go to the highest six cars in 2014 owner points who have been attempting to qualify and have not already qualified in one of the previous ways.
- Spot 43 goes to the most recent Cup Champion who has yet to qualify in another way. If it is not filled by that method it will go to the next driver in the 2014 owners points not yet included.
