2014 Charlotte Motor Speedway Entry List (Race One)

NASCAR Driver Entry List for Charlotte

By Richard Tix

NASCAR is done with the All-Star Race in Charlotte and moves onto....The Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte. This is a nice break for many teams as a lot of them have headquarters near that area.  Last Saturday we got a surprise winner in Jamie McMurray as he lead the final 10 lap segment. Will the same thing happen this week in the 600?

Personally, this is always a memorable race for me, but not always because of the race. This weekend is memorial weekend and my family and I always go camping for the weekend. Typically we take a bike ride into town on Sunday about race time and stop by a local small town bar with the race on. (Some years because of our camping tradition I have missed a good portion of the race, but family comes even before NASCAR for me). So even if it is not a race memory, the 600 always sticks out.

This weekend is also a weekend to remember those who we have lost. I always suggest to take some time out of our busy day's to remember lost ones and to that those who have served our country. Many of these individuals we have lost way to early, so never forget them.

Now, onto the entry list. Remember, if you don't enter you wont win. Also worth remembering, "if you're not first you're last" -Ricky Bobby.
