This week Richard Petty Motorsports officially announced that they were switching the #9 car back to the #44. It has been a few years since RPM has run the #44 so it was a refreshing site to see. It was earlier leaked that it might be happening as well, but now we know for sure.
So, with its arrival back at RPM, NASCAR Behind the Wall thought it was a good time to take a look back at some of the memorable Drivers/Cars of the #44.
