Driver Spotlight: Kyle Busch (Preseason Addition)

Time to move on from Big brother to little brother Kyle Busch. Unlike Kurt, Kyle has yet to win a NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship. However, when you look at the outlook of both drivers most NASCAR followers would probably say Kyle has a better chance at a title first.

The 2013 season was pretty typical for Rowdy, he won 4 races, had 16 top 5's, had 22 top 10's, and was fast all year (Take a look at last years Driver Spotlight on Rowdy). But 2013 was different, Rowdy started off the Chase on a hot note finishing 2nd, 2nd, and 5th before being involved in a wreak. After the crash in race 4 he finished 5th and 5th on his way to a fourth place Chase finish.

Over Kyle's career the one thing holding him back year to year seemed to be how he fell off at the end of the season, primarily in the Chase. Well 2013 proved he can put it together for the last 10 races (barring some bad luck).

The 2014 season could be one of Kyle's best if he can take his Chase momentum and continue it all season long (and maybe figure out Kansas along the way). Kyle Busch has to be looked at as a driver ready to take down Jimmie Johnson and also one of JJ's biggest threats. A lot of young guns are hitting the prime of there racing career and Rowdy might be leading the pack.
