2015 NASCAR Week 21 Chase Standings

2015 Chase Standings After 21 Races

By Richard Tix

After NASCAR's second stop at Pocono we had a few shake up in the Sprint Cup Chase standings. Matt Kenseth won his second race of 2015 and moved up the rankings. A few other guys struggled and will now more then ever need a win to lock themselves in. Also, and update on the Kyle Busch Chase race.

Notes: Greg Biffle, Kyle Larson, and Austin Dillon are all but out of the Chase unless the get a win. Aric Almirola currently still has a small shot on points, but he will need a win when all is said and done because its just a matter of time before Kyle Busch gets to the top 30.

Speaking of, when Kyle does get there is puts Kahne in a world of hurt if he doesn't have a win. Bowyer has been climbing up the list a bit and it looks like McMurray should be the safest driver to get in on points.

This week NASCAR heads to Watkins Glen so next weeks rankings could look a whole lot different. WG will give underdogs a shot to make the Chase and push some other guys down this list.
