2016 NASCAR Sprint Unlimited Entry List

Earlier this offseason we released the 2016 NASCAR Sprint Unlimited Eligible drivers list, which was almost like a "unofficial entry list." Well, now it is official who will run this Saturday in the 2016 Sprint Unlimited. After ton's of confusion that mostly stemmed around Tony Stewart and if he would get the #14 in the Unlimited, the field is finally set. So, who will you be pulling for on Saturday? Most fans will get to see there driver take part this Saturday in the Sprint Unlimited at Daytona. 18 NASCAR drivers are eligible for the 2014 Sprint Unlimited this Saturday the 15th.

  4. Terry Labonte
  5. Ryan Newman
  6. Brad Keselowski
  7. Jamie McMurray
  8. Danica Patrick
  9. Marcus Ambrose
  10. Denny Hamlin
  11. Kyle Busch
  12. Ricky Stenhouse Jr
  13. Joey Logano
  14. Matt Kenseth
  15. Carl Edwards
  16. Jimmie Johnson
  17. Jeff Gordon
  18. Dale Earnhardt Jr

The fans get to decide the format of the Sprint Unlimited. Here is a better break down on NASCAR.com. Here is a quick breakdown of the options, which voting is still going on for:
  • 75 Laps: Options: 30-35-10, 30-30-15, 30, 25-20.
  • Starting Order: Most Career Poles, 2013 Driver Standings, or Final Sprint Unlimited Practice Speeds
  • Restart During Final Segment: Fastest Lap over the first two Segments, Most Laps Led During the First Two Segments, or Mandatory Pit Stops.
