*Pts Back= Points back from 16th position in the standings.
*Austin Dillon and Kyle Larson are tied right now in points and for 16th position.

So right now only Kurt Busch and Aric Almirola are really benefiting from the new Chase Points System. Both drivers wouldn't even be in the top 16 right now in just points. Kevin Harvick, who some have said at times was the hottest driver on the season, would also be sitting 13th (but would most likely get a WC spot because of wins in the old system).

Not a lot of guys are getting hurt by the new system at the moment. Because is 16 drivers now and not 12 its not very likely anyone will get hurt by it (until we have a season with 16 + winners). Until then the regular season part of the new Chase wont change much.
