Back by popular demand! Just kidding, back because I feel bad about missing it last week, is the Week 8 Power Rankings. Sometimes life pulls you in one million different ways and at the end of the day its tough to even get energy for something you truly want to do. The want is this article, but it also has slipped down my list of priorities as of late.

Never the less, the rankings are back after one week of getting missed. Basically all that happened while I was gone was Kyle Busch domination which will pumped up a bunch of you and having many of the rest of you yelling "what the (insert bad word here)!?!?!?

So, enough is enough, lets see where your favorite driver landed this week!

Pit Road Power Rankings: Week 8 (Week 6)

  1. Kyle Busch (LW-1)- Rowdy hit number one on my list just one week before his first 2018 win. Since then? Since then he has won back to back races.
  2. Kevin Harvick (LW-2)- Harvick had a great car at Texas, but was just good at Bristol on Monday.
  3. Joey Logano (LW-4)- JoLo is tied with Kyle Busch with the most top tens in 2018 (seven), even though he really hasn't had winning speed yet this season.
  4. Clint Bowyer (LW-7)- Bowyer won at Martinsville and now has back to back top tens following. He has five top tens in 2018 and all but one race he has finished inside the top 15.
  5. Martin Truex Jr (LW-3)- Truex has had some rough luck the last two weeks getting involved in wrecks, but he should bounce back soon.
  6. Kyle Larson (LW-9)- Larson had a strong run at Bristol, but has yet to really put back to back strong runs together this year.
  7. Ryan Blaney (LW-5)- Man, Sunday sucked for Blaney after having a fast car. It's a small bump in the road, but he is having a good start to 2018.
  8. Brad Keselowski (LW-6)- BK had an up and down day at Bristol ending in his left front going down and ruining his finish. It's weird to see this team win-less in the beginning of a season.
  9. Denny Hamlin (LW-8)- Hamlin hasn't had a top ten since Fontana so que up the "NASCAR complaints" from DH....
  10. Alex Bowman (LW-NR)- Bowman was strong Sunday/Monday and now has two top tens in his last three.
  11. Aric Almirola (LW-11)- Aric had a great finish on Monday gaining his third top ten of 2018.
  12. Kurt Busch (LW-12)- Kurt ran alright at Texas and struggled at Bristol, basically the story of his late career.
Dropped Out: Erik Jones (LW-10)
Just Missed: Jimmie Johnson
